Aymeric Paillard
Saint-Joseph - Tournon
La Vigne Des Pères. Winemaker offers the most natural wines possible, sometimes rustic but without extremes.
Terroir of Sarras, worked in organic way since 2014, without insecticide, weed-killers or product of synthesis. It has partially grassed soils, partially worked by pickaxe, winch or horse.
His goal is to seek balance and freshness by touching as little as possible, considering that this balance will come from the quality of the harvest and its terroir. Harvested by hand, in small boxes, with sorting at the plot ; the fermentation is done in small open barrels, in semi carbonic maceration and in tradition with some pumping over. Short vattages of 20 to 30 days, no additives other than sulfur.
Guy Bernard
Côte-Rôtie
This small domain of 7. 00 ha is located in the communes of Tupin et Simon and Ampuis. In the
early 1990s, it was launched by Stéphane and his brother. They produces 5 wines including 4 Côtes- Rôties and one Condrieu. The wines are characterized by beautiful civilized materials and the maturing is very well managed.
The Condrieu, from the terroir of Vauvignière south of Malleval, has a rather frivolous and fruity style. The Côte-Rôtie Bassenon is velvety, silky, in a round and greedy style that will seduce you from now on. Rozier offers an extra dimension, chewy mouth and very fine spicy. The schist soils give the wine more straightness. The tannins are stronger and more powdery. Here the woodiness is just right. Côte Brune is more compact, but remains consistent from the attack to the finish. With 50% of the harvest whole, the juice is more stretched.

Remi Leorat
Domaine Mirabel Charmis - Ardèche
In 2014, a farmer from father to son, Remi took over the vineyard from his Grandfather. The farm extends over clay and limestone soils. Syrah is the main grape variety. For the whites, Marsanne, a typical grape variety of neighboring Saint-Péray, and Viognier. These grape varieties share the vineyard surface equally. All these lands are exploited in the respect of their nature and without synthetic products ! The “organic farming” certification is in progress. Remi is a modest and down to earth man. He does not like artifices. Remi does not own any barrels. He uses simple and functional resin vats. Very little interventionist. He also takes care of the start of fermentation and adds a minimal dose of sulfites at the beginning of the vinification. The wines are made by themselves. No pumping over or punching down, I am talking about red wines. Remi lets the wines decant, then rinses and bottles them without sulfur! His wines are delicately pressed, then settled and put in vats. Their bottling is earlier than for his red wines. He wants to preserve the quality and especially their plumes on the fruit! His wines are in his image; Petulant & Frugale !
